Comment utiliser un défibrillateur ?

Each year, nearly 40 000 people die of cardiac arrest, representing about 110 per day. Thanks to installations of defibrillators in public places, we could contribute to save thousands of lives.

The RMC/BFM Association launches the event “Le Train du Cœur” to increase awareness from representatives, corporate executives and citizens, in order to save lives.

The chain of survival

1. The victim is collapsing, does not react and is not breathing properly. You have to ask someone to call the first aid (in France dial 15, 18 or 112) and to immediately bring an Automatic External Defibrillator. You have to do everything yourself if you are alone.
2. You have to begin the cardio-pulmonary resuscitation while waiting for the defibrillator.
3. As soon as the defibrillator is available, switch the ON button and follow the instructions of the machine. Continue to follow the instructions of the defibrillator until the first aid arrives.
